Maison Lazarovska
As part of a collaboration with Maison Lazarovska, I had the opportunity to join their design team to explore interactive and conceptual directions for their collection of embroidered gloves. I contributed not only to the refinement of the final glove designs—crafted with intricate embroidery and crystal-set rings—but also participated in developing early prototypes that reimagined the glove as a statement accessory. From initial sketches to hands-on studio development, I worked closely with the Maison Lazarovska team to fuse traditional French craftsmanship with modern design sensibilities, helping elevate gloves beyond function into a wearable expression of elegance and innovation.
Design Philosophy
Maison Lazarovska reimagines the glove as an elegant accessory rather than merely a functional item. By focusing on exquisite craftsmanship and unique design elements like crystal-set rings, the brand elevates this often-overlooked accessory to a statement piece. Each pair of gloves represents a perfect balance between tradition and innovation—honoring classic French artisanal techniques while incorporating modern features like touchscreen compatibility. The designs blend durability with elegance, allowing the wearer to experience luxury in everyday life, whether braving the elements outdoors or attending a formal evening event.
Creative Process
Design Vision
The creative journey begins with Hélène Lazar's unique vision to transform gloves from purely functional items to sophisticated fashion accessories, combining elegance with practicality for the modern lifestyle.
Artisanal Craftsmanship
Each pair of gloves is meticulously handcrafted in France using premium materials. The embroidery work is executed with precision, honoring traditional techniques while creating contemporary designs.
Crystal Setting
The signature element of each design is the unique crystal-set ring, carefully integrated into the gloves to create a distinctive look that balances everyday wearability with luxury aesthetics.
